Amber began her vocal coaching journey in 2009 at age 11, training under Tanya G. at the renowned David Jaanz School of Singing (now Jaanz International Singing Academy). By 15, her dedication and talent earned her the opportunity to be mentored by David Jaanz himself, a respected figure who has coached artists like Delta Goodrem, Matt Corby, and Harrison Craig.
At 14, Amber picked up the guitar and wrote her first original song, Stand Up, which she performed at various anti-bullying events. Reflecting on that time, she shares:
"High school was tough, I never felt like I belonged. Stand Up was my way of reminding myself and others to never give up and to stand strong for our dreams. Our time to shine will come."
That same year, Amber played the lead role of Miss Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical The Musical, sparking her passion for acting. She later trained under actor Steve Bastoni (The Matrix Reloaded, The Water Diviner).
In 2013, Amber co-hosted the radio show Music Matters on 3WBC 94.1FM and gained lots of radio experience during that time.
In 2013 and 2016 Amber performed on the same stage that musician Prince performed at - the iconic Melbourne’s Bennetts Lane Jazz Club.
In 2014 Amber further honed her artistry through international experiences, including workshops at the New York Film Academy, Broadway dance training in Los Angeles, and performances at Disneyland and Universal Studios as part of the Disney Performing Arts program.
Through her radio work, she connected with Vincent Burkardt, founder of the Rising Artist Mentorship Program in Colorado, leading to her collaboration with musician Kirby Hamill on In Motion, featured on the internationally released Rise Volume 1 album in 2014. That same year, she received a Certificate of Commendation for Songwriting from Australia’s Music: Count Us In initiative and was honored with an Excellence Award from Jaanz International Singing Academy.
She also performed alongside The Voice 2013 winner Harrison Craig at the Frankston Christmas Festival of Lights.
In 2016, Amber reunited with Prince for another performance at Bennetts Lane and received both the David Jaanz Award for Outstanding Performance and another Excellence Award from the academy.
That year, she also performed at the launch of the Music Matters Charity Album and continued her vocal training under Torb Pedersen, a mentor who has worked with global icons like Whitney Houston.
At 20, Amber won overall first place at the New Faces Talent Academy (NFTA), dominating the acting, singing, and modeling categories. She later signed with her chosen agency and collaborated with legendary music executive Don Grierson, known for launching Celine Dion’s U.S. career.
With a lifelong passion for songwriting, recording, and live performance, Amber continues to inspire and uplift through her artistry.
